04:50 pm - Updates, photos, etc
Oooops, I haven't posted in ages! Too many sites on the go... Here is a run down of the past few busy weeks.. After my recent shoot with Umbar Shakir, which went down really well, the makeup artist, Angela Holthuis, asked me back to do some beauty work. They really like the Neetam shots and were curious to see how beauty work would go with me. Theyre trying to move me away from fetish and into beauty modelling ^_^

This is the kinda thing I did with her last time... so yeah, its kinda different to my usual stuff! So yeah, i did some really clean, girly makeup based stuff. I love how beauty modelling involves sitting down! Ive never been so relaxed on a shoot. Umbar was chatting away for hours about babies with a pregant model, so Angela and I hid away and were horrified together, and getting pretty hysterical discussing ugly babies. I think I must of made her job kinda hard cos I kept cracking up.. Looking forward to seeing them!
In the evening I went to Kingston and went out for dinner with Robert. We pretty much just talked about art al night, which is a really nice thing to be able to do <3 Im usually sorrounded by illustrators, so its really nice having a different perspective. I didnt meet him till about 9 and I was meant to be staying at Chris's place, so I didnt get there till super late, and by that point the poor guy was asleep.. ooops. In the morning Chris went off to work and left me to sleep in. I then made myself at home in his kitchen, took a shower etc, and waited for the gorgeous dimante skull by Amore Di Mori to arrive. Oh my god, it was so beautiful!! I totally fell in love with it <3 Then i went into London to House of Harlot and picked up some Lacing Lillith latex, which made me a very happy bunny indeed.
^^ The piece!!! ^_^ Once I'd done that i had a day off, so I wandered about London and did a bit of shopping. I just aimlessly wandered and smiled at everyone I met, which is what i tend to do when Im all alone. I made quite a few friends that way, including a sweet Columbian waiter in EAT, called Alex. He told me about Salsa, and somehow managed to draw me a sketch of himself whilst my coffee whilst I was being served. London is full of great people, I love it intensely. On Saturday I shot with Chris Ayres. Liesal Star came aong for makeup and we got loads done. I shot a very pretty Hedony dress with lots of pearls and pink and lightness. Then I shot the Amore Di Mori and Lacing Lilith and after that did a cool hood shoot up on the roof. The sky was so blue it looked like LA, it was amazing. The wind made my body cold, but warmed up the hood. It felt pretty great up there <3 I also got to shoot with a £3000 Jimmy Choo bag that matched my outfit perfectly. Oh my god, it was so beautiful!!! And so hard to give it back at the end of the day :'( :'( In the evening I completely crashed out I was so exhausted. No peace for the wicked though! The next day I headed off to shoot with Pete Felix Kurtz and Mistress Hannah. It was a lot of fun, and they were both the kindest people. They provided me with snacks and glasses of wine throughout the shoot and I got to wear some great catsuits, body suits and hoods. I shot some very steamy videos for his site withMistress Hannah in the shower, and in their very own lovely dungeon, and really enjoyed it.
Here is a mirror shot I took just before shooting.... I love hoods! <3
In the evening they very kindly took me to an Ethiopian restaraunt and that was really lovely. By the time I eventually got back to Cambridge it was past midnight and I was exhausted in everyway. Relieved to be back in my own bed!
By now, i already miss London and all its wonderful people :'( I want to be back there with my friends! Cambridge is soooo quiet right now. My housemates have gone on holiday so Im rattling round the house alone. Its somewhat depressing. I met up with Rowan for lunch today and we got pizza. For some reason he ordered for me, and ordered the one pizza that was covered in Coriander. Coriander is the one food i literally cannot stand. I cant be anywhere near it! Oh wel.. it was nice to have some company and get out in the sun.
Im now back in my house alone, but feeling pretty good. The sun is filtering in and I have accoustic tunes blaring out. I can listen to whatever the hell I like now Im alone and last night I was beating out the hardcore, so today is a nice change. Im also in a pretty artistic mood, so other than the internet shaped distractions Im really getting on with that.
Ive been working on a number of projects, the foremost being my Hindu godesses. Im mad on them! I find them so interesting and so beautiful. Ive been doing a series of paintings/ink drawings based on Udaipur miniature paintings and fort wall reliefs. Im also doing an editorial series called What I Loved... its an A-Z of the things I love more than anything else. It ranges from B is for Bombay Sapphire to S is for Seeping with the Window Open or the Smell of Chinese Supermarkets. It also means I get to do some really lose thick paintings with wall paper paint, which is very relaxing. Thirdly is a personal project, and therefore slightly on the backburner. Occasionally Ill hear a song and it wil make me want to illustrate so much. Often its not necassarily a song I particularly adore... it just has a visual effect on me. The last one was 'We Were Dead Before the Shp Even Sank'... I posted that a while back. i want to turn that into a series called The Lighthouse Man, but I havent even started yet... When I finish with that I plan to move onto The Archaeologists... I hate that I always get so excited about these things, but never have the time to actualy complete them :'(
So yeah, thats me!

Whos coming?? I wanna make a big ol' party of it so I don't have to organise a real one myself... The more the merrier! I've been speaking to the designer, and apparently there will be champagne...

Its a hectic week!! It should be good though! I'm looking forwardf to my work, modelling for Jane Doe Latex and Lady Lucie, amongst possible others. The photographers seem really lovely so it be fun, and on Saturday, Liesal Star is the MUA and hair stylist. Firstly, this is a relief, because I hateee doing my own hair, Im rubbish! Secondly, it will be cool seeing her. I love her work, and it will be good to catch up.
I've been making special things for my sisters leaving party- little gifts and collecting letters and drawings, photos etc from all her friends to take to China with her. I also made a politically relevant, if not politically incorrect party game- a painted A1 'Pin the Free Tibet Badge on the Chinaman'. Parties with my family are always a little weird.
I'll probably will post about it all on Monday, with pictures of the snoooooooww.... if I survive till then.

02:35 pm - Latex in the Post!
I came downstairs this morning to a large package in my front room, and the smell of latex seeping from it. Thats definately a god thing to wake up to. When I opened it, it was two beautiful dresses sent to me by Lady Lucie, for a couple of shoots in have in the beginning of February. One was a gorgeous red and black dress with ruffles and matching gloves, the other was a dress made especially for my shoot- bright yellow!! It looks reealllyy pretty and Im excited about trying it on, and whatever styling is beng prepared <3
Really looking forward to Feb now! Also, I don't know what lubricant she uses, but the dresses smell incredible- like strawberrys!
I can't believe how hectic this year is proving to be already.. Eurgh!

12:17 am - My London Trip
I'm now veerryy tired, so I gotta try be as coherant as possible, then go to bed... On Wednesday I met up with Skin in London. We went to Camden and ate chinese food that made us feel sick for most of the afternoon, and then made our way to Samantha Bond where she had her meeting. I sat about in the lobby feeling nervous for her, but girl done good! We left with a couple of appointments, got a celebratory donut and headed to Kingston.
We were meant to be meeting Robert for dinner, and managed to get into his salon after a few difficulties with the definately locked door ^_^
Our hair was borrowed for a little while to test out some styles and then we went out to an italian restaurant where we got drunk and talked about stripping for about three hours. It was a good evening. We watched a bit of Family Guy when we got back and I vaguely recall trying to translate French movie cases into English and attempting to watch Amadeus, but we both ended up falling asleep on the sofas. Woke up with a wine headache (inevitable) and scuttled off after a coffee to track down the Front Magazine and Bizarre Offices in the nasty grey rain. Ended up in a pub, where we met up with Liesal Star for a bit. I haven't seen her since we shot together for Hoodlovers possibly two years ago. I can't believe its been so long! It was good seeing her again.
Whilst hunting for lube in Harmony we bumped into Emma J, also hunting for lube. Very random! She recommended we ditch the Wagamamas plan (we couldnt find it...) and try Satsuma in Soho instead. It was a quite cute restaurant- similar to Wagamamas, and really nice. Afterwards we just wandered round Soho and looked in a couple of sex shops, laughed at the crappy porn and giant dildos... Good times.
It was pretty rubbish saying goddbye again, it went so fast, and its always so much fun being with Skin. Its very quiet without her! I'm very proud of how well she did whilst she was done- I knew they would all love her. I've just remembered the Twins Club RUB is tonight. Sad :'( My sister arrived yesterday and its great seeing her. She is currently crashign on the floor of my living room with her boyfriend, i feel bad the accomodation is a bit crap. Tomorrow is Burns Night so we're celebrating our scottish roots with some Haggis <3 Right now I'm exhausted, so Im going to sleep
Sweet dreams! x x x

01:02 pm - London!
I'm heading down to London to meet up with Skin tomorrow. Woo!! She has a couple of meetings during the day, but there will still be time to catch up, so I'm happy. In the evening we're going for dinner with Robert in Kingston or something. (Skin- we should probably organise this!) On the Thursday I was meant to be shooting but I have this bad feeling it won't happen. Its been organised for weeks, but I still need to hear the final details (for example, where I'm going and when- kinda important) but I haven't heard from the photographer yet. I mailed him warning him I'd be coming down Wednesday night and probably wouldnt be able to check mail after then, so I needed to know in advance, but we're now running out of hours... I really hate it when that happens! Frustrated, but I'm glad if it means me and Skin get a day to hang out and just do London thing.
So every cloud has a silver (or pink!) lining :)
The next day I have my sister coming to stay, and she will be about till she flies off next Saturday, and I head back down to London. I swear next weekend is the most overbooked weekend of the year, Im feeling a little stressed. Buuut Im excited about seeig Nats too. My housemates are gonna help organise a goodbye party for her, and Im gonna cook some china themed food.
Oh, and Ive just blow dried my hair and I have curls that are about four times the size of my head. Im like one of those nodding dolls you put in cars.. Remind me to never ever blow dry. Anyway, I'll post again when I get back from London :) x x x Current Location: my bedroom Current Music: Frou Frou

I hope I get my new shots soon. I shot a gorgeeoouuss little dress for Hello Dolly Latex just before christmas and I'm excited to see it.
Is anyone thinking of going to this months club RUB?? Its on the 24th and the theme is twins, so I really wanna go. My twin is even returning to the country a few days before, so I think thats a sign. I don't know if i could persuade her to be dragged along though. Shes coming to stay at mine for a while before she moves to Shanghai so I wanna plan a few parties and stuff. So yeah, Club RUB anyone? Current Location: Cambridge. 04:04 pm - One of those days :) Wednesday was one of those days "where nothing really happens, but everything goes down".
It was two of my friends birthdays on the same day, and I woke up full of the excitement I get when I a) actually allow myself to sleep in b) have a birthday. Even if its not my own (Simple things...) I sat in the kitchen and had birthday cake for breakfast with my housemates. Theyre all keen on not using electricity and our house is kinda dingy so its always lit with candles in old rum bottles, making it feel like it is night time all of the time. We chatted, handed out presents and then even played pass the parcel. That was pretty cool.
In the afternoon we went to see Waltz With Bashir and the Arts Cinema and it was really good. The sound track was pretty cool too. Ive been to that cinema three times this week...Then we went to a restaurant and afterwards to a Super 8 film festival, playing all these weird super 8 shorts.
To continue with the art geek vibe we went back to mine to drink and chat. About 14 other people piled into our living room and we sat till 5 in the morning playing music by candle light and making sculptures out of stickers. I made a humming bird, everyone else worked together to make a palm tree as tall as the room which was actually kinda terryfying considering the abundance of open flames...
Its days like this that make me feel that right now life is as good as its probably gonna get :) Next wednesday I'm coming down to London to shoot and meet up with Skin. I cant wait!! Im going to take her to Wagamamas, apparently they dont have those in Scotland. Woo!

09:23 pm - New Years Resolutions
1. Have a better relationship with my twin sister Well I worked hard at this over christmas, but its not easy when she lives in the South of France. And even harder when shes moving to Shanghai in three months! Absence makes the heart grow fonder? 2. Carry my sketchbook EVERYWHERE Draw draw draw draw draw...
3. Work Harder I dont know what that means, I just know I suddenly seem to have a lot of shoots booked and I should make the most of it. I think I have three or four by mid Feb, not to mention possible going along to Fetish Evolution (Stoked!) I guess I want to get more involved in the scene again, put in more effort, have more fun. I can't wait till March just to see what I've produced. I can't wait to see all the latex that has been lent me!
4. Lose weight Same resolution, year in year out. Im rubbish at dieting! It makes me SERIOUSLY cranky and I just can't quit picking at things all night. And I just love cheese. I was born to be morbidly obese. I seem to be doing okay so far (with a few cock ups...) so if I shift any I guess I should be happy. Anyone wanna take bets on how long that lasts??
I have no internet AGAIN. Im getting very very fed up with it actually >:( Right now its nearly ten and Im in a librabry (woo for 24 hour libraries...) but it doesnt have msn and I want to go home and comfort eat... Current Location: Library Current Music: Soko- I'll kill her
